  28. o  does not try to simulate a real calculator: For
  29.    example, it does not have an "=" button. The
  30.    notation of the formulas is like in a programming
  31.    language. Nevertheless, there is a calculator-like
  32.    mouse interface.

  34. o  is Shareware. Without registration key, you will
  35.    get an info screen at the beginning - there's no
  36.    other limitation. New in version are regression
  37.    (reg button) and new programmers functionality
  38.    (prg button).

  40. o  recalculates the result after every keystroke. You
  41.    have an entry field and a separate result field. If
  42.    a formula is incomplete or erroneous, pmCalc will
  43.    display a detailed error message instead of the
  44.    result. You can choose between different output

  86. make a program object on your desktop using the program
  87. template in your template folder. If you want to have
  88. pmCalc colored, also copy COLORSMP and type into the
  89. program object settings notebook parameter field:

  93. Please notice that a second "PMCALC" exists. PMCALC.ZIP
  94. is an IBM employee written software, Tim Baldwin, U.K.
  95. Tim Baldwin's PMCALC imitates a real pocket calculator.

  97. in the zip file name, Baldwin's is not.

  116. o  hat nicht echte Taschenrechner als Vorbild. So gibt es
  117.    etwa keine "=" Taste. Stattdessen gibt man Formeln
  118.    entsprechend der Schreibweise von Programmiersprachen
  119.    ein. Trotzdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, wie beim echten
  120.    Taschenrechner entsprechend Tasten zu drücken.

  152.    Formeln dauerhaft abspeichern.

  156.    erklärt haben möchten. Sie können aber auch einfach nur

  158.    Inhaltsverzeichnis an.

  160. o  rechnet intern mit Fließkommavariablen "double", so daß
  161.    Sie 15 gültige Stellen erhalten.

  163. o  hat eine eingebaute Pentium-Fehlerkorrektur; die Überläufe

  170. Spielen Sie einfach pmCalc.exe, pmCalc_G.hlp und last20.txt
  171. auf Ihre Festplatte in irgendein Verzeichnis. Erstellen Sie
  172. über den Schablonenordner ein Programmobjekt "pmCalc", tragen
  173. den Programmnamen incl. Verzeichnis und bei Parameter "deutsch"
  174. ein. Wenn Sie einen farbigen pmCalc haben möchten, kopieren
  175. Sie noch COLORSMP und tragen als weiteren Parameter ein:
  176. "color:COLORSMP"

  179. Ich möchte darauf hinweisen, daß es einen zweiten "PMCALC" gibt,
  180. und zwar eine IBM employee written software, Tim Baldwin, U.K.
  181. Baldwins Taschenrechner ist eine Nachbildung eines echten
  182. Taschenrechners. Um die beiden unterscheiden zu können, werde
  183. ich immer die Versionsnummer in den Namen der Zip-Datei
  184. schreiben.
